Our purebred Shetland sheep are direct descendants of the original stock brought over from the Shetland Isles by Colonel G. D. Dailley of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada in conjunction with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
Shetland wool is arguably the finest in the world, and registered Shetland sheep are increasingly the choice of handspinners who want to keep a few sheep on hand that are small and hardy, beautiful to look at, personable and gentle.
